Timmons Griner Sworn In as Fire Chief

The City of Mount Dora is proud to welcome the 10th Fire Chief into service with the Fire Department. Chief Timmons Griner was officially pinned in a formal ceremony Tuesday, June 20 at the Community Building.  Several fire and police officials from Lake County and surrounding cities attended the event, which was followed by a reception.

City of Mount Dora holds Blood Drive


The City held a 'Solidarity' Blood Drive on Monday, June 12, the one year anniversary of the Pulse Massacre.  From this blood drive, we were able to donate 31 pints of blood to OneBlood and register dozens of new donors for them!
