Wolf Branch Innovation District Stakeholders Meeting

Thursday, February 28, 2019

You are invited to help shape the future of Mount Dora.

At this meeting, the City and County’s Consultant will provide land use maps and a brief presentation. The proposed map series will include data and description of the vision for lands along SR 46, SR 453, and the Wolf Branch Innovation District. This invite has been sent as you may have properties within this review area.

The Wolf Branch Innovation District is an area that is being evaluated by the City of Mount Dora and Lake County to develop a strategic plan for the future character of development of this section of east Lake County. As part of this process, the City and County have retained a consultant to provide recommendations on how the existing Future Land Use plan for the area can be implemented. The ideas being considered would potentially create a stronger sense of place and aesthetic quality for the future.

The City and County are examining ways to find the right balance between economic growth and preservation of character while maintaining the quality environment that ensures our community remains unique.

As a property owner within this area, your input is requested to help shape the future of the area. The City of Mount Dora and Lake County invite you to participate in a STAKEHOLDERS MEETING to help refine the vision for the community. The vision that emerges from this process will help clarify issues and opportunities, establish goals, identify development strategies and concepts, and set a foundation for land use patterns. Please join us and get involved.
