Hurricane Preparedness Expo

Hurricane Program 2019

Hurricane season started June 1st and the City of Mount Dora wants to make sure all Lake County citizens are prepared for the next big storm.

The Hurricane Preparedness Program will feature officials from Lake County Emergency Management, Mount Dora Fire Department, Mount Dora Electric Division and Hillcrest Insurance Agency.  All speakers will be there to help citizens prepare and answer any questions or concerns.

There will also be refreshments and door prizes and this expo is open to all Lake County citizens and free to the public.

Even though the season has already started, it is never too late to be prepared and remember what you need to do should a hurricane come through Lake County.

This program is sponsored by the Mount Dora Library Association.  If you have any questions, please contact the W.T. Bland Public Library at (352) 735-7180 Option 5 or email
