  3. Children's Art in the Park

    March 23, 2019, 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM @ Cauley Lott Park

    “Art in the Park” is a free children's art outreach program that takes place in Mount Dora at Cauley Lott Park every Saturday from March 2nd through April 27th from 10 am to 12 pm. This is a free program to participate in, no advance registration required and is open to all residents (whether you're a Mount Dora resident or not). This art program is intended to give children knowledge of art concepts through art activities selected each week. The weekly lessons present a variety of artistic projects in a fun way that will help children increase their confidence, and improve their communication and problem solving skills. All materials are provided for each week's lesson, free of charge.

  4. Caribbean Groove featuring Ed Anderson, Live at the Museum!

    March 23, 2019, 6:30 PM - 8:00 PM @ Modernism Museum Mount Dora

    Sway to the music with Caribbean Groove, a Caribbean/Jazz steel drum band led by Triangle Elementary music teacher Ed Anderson. Be transported to your island dreams. Caribbean Groove just finished performing aboard a cruise ship, and they’re ready to bring their island sounds back to Florida. The concert will take place in the Modernism Museum gallery on Saturday, March 23rd at 7:00pm. A sparkling and white wine reception is included with your admission, which begins at 6:30pm. Tickets are $20 for 3MD members and $30 for nonmembers and includes the wine reception which precedes the performance.
