  1. Annual Plein Air Paint Out and Exhibit

    October 31, 2018, 10:00 AM - November 30, 2018, 5:00 PM

    Annual event in which artists register and paint/draw scenes depicting Mount Dora’s landscape and architecture. Final entries are judged and prizes are awarded at exhibit’s opening reception. This year’s featured Plein Air artist is Beth Pendleton. Opening reception: November 9th, 2018 6-8 PM.

Library - Adult Calendar

  1. iPad & iPhone Photos

    November 6, 2018, 10:30 AM - 12:00 PM @ W T Bland Public Library

    Using your own iPad and/or iPhone, learn how to take photographs, edit photographs, and save and store photographs. You'll learn how to use all the features of Photos as well as create a Slideshow from images on your device. Even if you've owned your iPad or iPhone for awhile, you'll pick up storage management, editing, and other tips. Class size is limited to eight students to provide hands-on help and training.

    Stimulate your brain with lively literary discussions, enjoy some wine and cheese and meet fellow book lovers at our Tuesday evening book club for adults. Wine and cheese is provided by club members. Book Club is held at the library at the Simpson Farmhouse.
