Inviting ALL writers and artists between the ages of 11 to 18 to a special program resulting in getting your work published! Writer-artist teams will write & illustrate one short story, over a series of 4 workshops. The end result will be published in BiblioBoard's Indie Florida digital collection. This program is funded by a grant from the Horror Writers Association. Writer-artist teams will pick one of the following genres for their work: science fiction, suspense, fantasy or horror.
Author Amy Christine Parker and Illustrator Jon Pinto will be on hand at the first workshop to help teams get started. Register once for all four workshops.

The instructor has over a decade of experience working with businesses around the world as a writer, social media expert and graphic designer. She specializes in WordPress sites and online marketing.

Did you know founding father Benjamin Franklin was a talented scientist and inventor? Learn about his greatest scientific accomplishments, as well as many of his other achievements. Ben Franklin mapped the Gulf Stream, charted the path of a hurricane, saved lives by studying and writing about lead poisoning and small pox and proved that lightning was a form of electricity. Dr. Rich Davis' program concludes with the reenactment of a scientific experiment Ben actually performed!
No registration required. All ages are welcome.
