    If you have never owned a computer - or are afraid to use one - or only use it for email and maybe to write a letter - or don't know how to turn it on - this class is for you! Learn how to explore your computer and not get into trouble. Learn why a "mouse" is called a mouse and in what year the word "computer" was first used. This class takes place in our Technology Lab, with PCs provided.

  3. Plant Powerful Community Group

    Join interested community members to learn more about a whole food, plant-based diet, which has been shown by research to be the optimal diet for health, and not just for preventing disease, but also for reversing chronic conditions like heart disease and type 2 diabetes. Learn about the benefits of a plant-based diet and how communities are using the PlantPure program (non-commercial; no products are for sale) to change our health outcomes. No registration required. No products for sale; this is not a commercial enterprise. This group meets every month on the second Saturday at 3:30 PM at the Simpson Farmhouse.

  1. Sweet Peas a Baby Story Time

    October 12, 2019, 10:30 AM - 11:30 AM @ Children's Program Room

    Saturdays at 10:30 am, beginning January 26, 2019. Announcing a special story time for babies up to 15 months as well as expectant parents. Meet other caregivers while supporting your baby’s early development needs. Staff have been specially trained on the latest best practices for infant and in utero story times. Infant story times are structured differently because the needs of babies are so different! Toddlers who are brought to this story time will have a special role as well. Thanks to the Friends of the Library, this story time has new books and new developmentally appropriate toys. Parents and babies are welcome to stay for play and explore following the story time.
